TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Cover Supervisor for Cefneithin, Carmarthen. The role involves delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, supervising pupils across year groups and maintaining a calm, engaging classroom environment.

Term time only with competitive weekly PAYE pay (£100-£115 per day) and flexible work arrangements. DBS checks encouraged. Dedicated consultant support available 24/7.

Cover Supervisor needed – Cefneithin

Location: Cefneithin, Carmarthen

Weekly pay | PAYE | £100 - £115 p/d

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity? Do you have the confidence to lead a classroom, manage behaviour effectively, and support pupils to stay engaged with their learning?

The Role

• Deliver pre-set lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
• Supervise pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
• Maintain a calm, positive, and productive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage positive engagement
• Build strong professional relationships with pupils and school staff
• Adapt confidently to different classroom environments and school settings

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Education, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a relevant subject is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience working within a secondary school environment is desirable
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
