TeacherActive Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Brynmawr.

You will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining student engagement and positive classroom behaviour for learners aged 11 to 16.

This long-term temporary role starts immediately with market-leading pay, ongoing CPD through the My-Progression channel and a supportive team of consultants available 24/7.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with their work and maintaining positive classroom behaviour.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The confidence to supervise students aged 11 to 16
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to follow lesson plans and deliver pre-set work
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to working with young people
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A reliable and professional approach
