Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support Redhill Academy Trust across Nottingham and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers and supervising secondary students in a range of subjects.

You will help maintain a positive learning environment, manage behaviour and support continuity of learning throughout the school day, with flexible day-to-day work and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or in education settings.
• Able to deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain student engagement.
• Proactive in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supervise secondary-aged students across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a calm, positive and purposeful classroom environment.
• Support students to remain focused and engaged.
• Manage behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, graduate, or someone with experience working with young people?

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Day-to-Day Cover Supervisors to work across schools within the Redhill Academy Trust in the Nottingham area.
