Job summary

Step Teachers is recruiting Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply across Norwich and surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities offer variety, enabling you to support pupils and schools with pre-prepared lesson plans while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil engagement.

Ideal candidates have classroom presence, strong communication, and reliability. Training such as Step On is provided, and candidates undergo DBS checks and safeguarding clearance as part of registration.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Demonstrates confidence managing classroom behaviour.
• Adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qualifications or training related to education (desirable).

Responsibilities

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
