Step Teachers is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role starting September 2026. You will supervise classes during teacher absence and support pupils to stay engaged with set work.

• Support pupils with additional needs to access learning where required
• Maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with transitions between lessons and activities
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures at all times

This Cover Supervisor role offers a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity starting in September 2026. The Cover Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absence and supporting pupils to remain engaged with set work. This role is ideal for someone confident working with young people, seeking a long-term opportunity with progression to a permanent position.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:
