Job summary

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Sheffield. You will supervise classes and deliver prepared lessons across various year groups, ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are unavailable.

This temporary, term-time-only role offers competitive daily rates and opportunities for CPD, with higher rates possible based on experience and school budgets. DBS and references required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cover Supervisor accreditation or an equivalent Level 4/5 certification.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a readiness to obtain one.
• Two professional references confirming your experience as a Cover Supervisor.

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools throughout Sheffield.

Position: Cover Supervisor
Employment Type: Temporary, during term time only (Monday to Friday)
Placement: Multiple educational settings in the Sheffield area
Salary: £92.56 - £110 per day, including accrued holiday entitlement. Higher rates may be offered based on prior experience, credentials, and individual school budgets.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when regular teaching staff are unavailable.

Key Duties:

• Supervise entire classes and facilitate learning across a range of year groups during teacher planning periods.
• Provide focused support sessions and deliver lessons that have been prepared in advance.
• Assist with the practical application of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), collaborating with Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to tailor materials and monitor student development.
