Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is hiring Graduate Cover Supervisors to join our team across South Yorkshire, Sheffield, and Chesterfield.

Start ASAP with roles available on both full-time and part-time bases. You will lead classrooms of up to 30 students in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-planned work and ensuring a safe, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Education: university degree (any subject) or A-Level equivalent at minimum.
• Skills: strong communication, ability to lead groups, professional and reliable attitude.
• Experience: previous encounter with young people desirable.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply) with Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned work across subjects (English, Maths, PE, Drama).
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe, productive learning environment.
• Support students with tasks, answer questions and keep them on track.
• Liaise with school staff to provide feedback on progress and behaviour.

Salary: 460 - 650 per week / 95 - 110 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classrooms of up to 30 students in the absence of their regular teacher. You are not expected to plan or mark lessons; instead, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned work across various subjects, from English and Maths to PE and Drama.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment.
• Support students with their tasks, answering questions and keeping them on track.
• Liaise with school staff to provide feedback on student progress and behaviour during the day.
