Job summary

Link3 Recruitment Ltd in Coventry is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors with a Business Studies background to support secondary schools across Coventry. You will deliver pre-set Business Studies lessons when teachers are absent and help students stay engaged.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs or equivalent, right to work in the UK, and be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Flexibility to work across multiple schools and roles is encouraged, with a competitive daily rate of pay.

Responsibilities

Job Advert: Business Studies Cover Supervisors (Secondary Schools – Coventry)

Location: Coventry

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply

Pay: £110 – £135.50 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Cover Supervisors with a background in Business Studies to support teaching and learning across a network of Secondary schools in Coventry.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set Business Studies lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students remain on task
• Support students with their understanding of key Business concepts and terminology
• Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership where required
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environmentPrevious experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or unqualified teacher
• Flexibility to work across various schools in Coventry

Requirements:

• All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.
• DBS: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, unless already registered on the Update Service. The cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant.
• For rolesbelow Cover Supervisor level,aminimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent)is required, and evidence of these qualifications must be provided.
