Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support a mainstream secondary school. You will supervise classes across the age range, deliver pre-planned work and help students stay focused and engaged in their learning.

The role offers long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work, competitive PAYE pay rates (£160–£210 per day), on-site hours, and a supportive consultancy team to assist onboarding and placement fulfilment.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
