Job summary

The Hyndburn Academy within the United Learning group is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support pupils across a range of subjects. The role is term-time only over 39 weeks, assisting teachers when absent and ensuring learning stays on track.

You will deliver lesson plans, manage pupil behaviour and help students overcome barriers to learning while building positive relationships and promoting a calm learning environment.

Job description

Cover Supervisor post at The Hyndburn Academy, a school within the United Learning group, working alongside teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects and abilities. The core of the work is keeping learning on track when teachers are absent, delivering lesson plans for subject classes and managing pupil behaviour. The post is term-time only over 39 weeks, with cover spread across different subjects and year groups. Visa sponsorship is not available, and the post is needed as soon as possible.
