The Lowry Academy in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support learning during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and help keep students engaged in a positive, safe learning environment.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week during term time. Previous experience with young people or an interest in teaching is valued, and the position offers a clear pathway for professional growth within a multi-academy trust.

This permanent cover role sits within the secondary school team at The Lowry Academy, a United Learning multi-academy trust school. The post-holder covers short-term absences of teachers, supervising whole classes, delivering pre-prepared lessons and keeping students engaged. The post is 37.5 hours a week during term time only and suits people with experience of young people or those considering teaching. Visa sponsorship is not available.
