Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream Secondary School in Telford. You will deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classes across the secondary age range, maintaining a positive learning environment.

The role offers long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work and a PAYE payroll. Ideal candidates will have experience with young people in a school setting, strong behaviour management, and excellent communication skills.

Salary: £110 - £150 per day

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A flexible and adaptable approach

• A positive 'can-do' attitude
