Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Oldham seeking a Cover Supervisor to join on a temporary, full-time basis. You will supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintain order and ensure students stay engaged with their work.

The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management, good communication skills and the flexibility to cover across KS3/KS4. The school offers market leading rates and ongoing CPD through My-Progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are desirable
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to cover KS3/KS4

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £120 - £170 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Oldham, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for students across KS3 and KS4, offering the successful Cover Supervisor the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a secondary school environment.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their work.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
• Experience supervising or supporting students within a classroom environment is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The confidence to supervise classes across KS3 and KS4
• A flexible and adaptable approach
