Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Oldham. The role is temporary, full-time, and you'll supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on engagement and behaviour management.

The position offers daily pay between £120-£170, with onboarding support from a dedicated team and CPD opportunities. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
• Experience supervising or supporting students within a classroom environment is desirable.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The confidence to supervise classes across KS3 and KS4.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Oldham, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for students across KS3 and KS4, offering the successful Cover Supervisor the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a secondary school environment.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their work.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
• Experience supervising or supporting students within a classroom environment is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The confidence to supervise classes across KS3 and KS4
• A flexible and adaptable approach
