Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Warwickshire. You will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned lessons and keep students focused and engaged with their learning.

The role offers long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work. Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a positive, adaptable approach to varied subjects.

Do you have experience working with young people in a secondary school setting?

Are you adaptable, reliable and able to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Warwickshire. The school provides a supportive learning environment with a focus on maintaining high expectations and encouraging students to engage positively with their education.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A positive 'can-do' attitude
