TeacherActive is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Bolton. You will cover lessons across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-planned work and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Bolton
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £130 - £180 per day

Are you confident managing a classroom of secondary school students?

Do you have experience supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

Are you adaptable, reliable and able to engage students across a range of subjects?

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term basis, covering lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work, maintaining a positive classroom environment and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students


• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4


• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


• Excellent communication skills


• A confident and adaptable approach


• A positive can-do attitude
