Job summary

Co-op Academy Belle Vue is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our committed team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging short-term cover and maintaining high expectations for student learning in a dynamic secondary school setting.

The successful candidate will support teachers, manage classes during absences, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment that reflects the academy's CARE principles.

Qualifications

• Strong A Levels or equivalent essential.
• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent essential.
• Able to work as part of a dynamic teaching team, contributing to the wider academic community. essential

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Cover supervisor, with the ability to enthuse, motivate and inspire children, generating a love for learning. You will cover short-term absences of a teacher. On occasion, and by mutual agreement, a cover supervisor may be asked to cover classes for an extended period. Exceptional teamwork, high standards and a capacity for hard work will be at the core of your success. You will be a creative thinker with an ability and determination to develop Co-op Academy Belle Vue as a beacon of excellence in all areas, in order to secure high quality outcomes for all pupils.

The successful candidate will have recent experience and evidence of substantial impact on the improvement of a school or academy in areas relevant to this role.
