Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Grantham
Salary:£90 – £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date:September 2025
Contract Type:Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor (CS) for daily supply work in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience without the pressure of planning or marking.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support to students and ensure learning continues in the teacher’s absence.
• Report back to staff on student engagement and behaviour.

What You Need:

• Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, or similar).
• Strong classroom management skills and a calm, confident presence.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and work flexibly across subjects and year groups.
• A degree or TA qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Anenhanced DBScertificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
