Qualifications

• A relevant education qualification or degree is desirable, although not essential.

• Experience supervising groups, managing behaviour or supporting classroom learning.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and school expectations.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• A confident, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout their lessons.

This is an immediate-start, temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a Cover Supervisor who enjoys the variety of working across different classrooms and year groups. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

A relevant education qualification or degree is desirable, although not essential

Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a secondary or middle school

Experience supervising groups, managing behaviour or supporting classroom learning

A good understanding of safeguarding and school expectations

Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
