Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education when the regular teacher is absent. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to students, ensuring classroom behaviour is managed effectively, and that learning continues smoothly in the teacher’s absence.

This is a flexible, on-call position, suitable for those looking for part-time work, those building teaching experience, or individuals seeking term-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.

Deliver set lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task with their work.

Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.

Provide feedback to teaching staff about student behaviour and lesson engagement.

Encourage a positive learning environment, helping students stay motivated and focused.

Prior classroom or youth work experience is preferred
