Secondary Cover Supervisor - Southampton, Southampton

Academics are seeking experienced and hardworking Secondary Cover Supervisors in Southampton with a keen interest in developing their skills in teaching.

You will be required to work in various secondary schools in the Southampton area covering different key stages where needed.

Suitable Secondary Cover Supervisors must be available over at least 3 days per week and be willing to travel to various schools within Southampton. The ability or willingness to teach other subjects is desirable. Having your own transport would be beneficial but is not essential.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Have a degree and/or relevant experience working in a school setting.
• Have recent experience of teaching or supporting in a classroom in the UK.
• Demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Be available at least three days per week.
• Be Southampton based or willing to travel to Southampton for work.
• Be willing to cover classes across various Key Stages.
• Possess a clear Child Workforce DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
