Zusammenfassung

Neale-Wade Academy is seeking a permanent cover supervisor to keep lessons running when teachers are absent. You will supervise classes using pre-prepared work, support learning, manage behaviour, and help keep students safe and on task.

This role requires clear communication with teachers and colleagues to maintain continuity and high safeguarding standards. The post is term-time, 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks, with duties spread across the school day.

• Supervise classes on pre-prepared activities to maintain learning during planned or unplanned teacher absence.
• Manage behaviour, keep learners on task and take responsibility for their safety and wellbeing.
• Prepare learning spaces and resources, collect completed work and restore areas after lessons.
• Keep appropriate records and give teachers clear feedback on work, progress, behaviour and any issues arising.
• Communicate positively with learners, colleagues and relevant professionals to support learning and wellbeing.

The post centres on taking classes through pre-prepared work, managing behaviour and keeping students safe and on task. It is a term-time role of 32.5 hours a week across 39 weeks, with duties spread through the school each day. Visa sponsorship is not available.
