Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to work across Doncaster’s secondary schools, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

In this role you will supervise lessons, support students including those with additional learning needs, and record progress for teaching staff, contributing to continuity when teachers are absent. The position offers flexible, varied daily work starting in December.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secondary school, youth setting, or coaching environment.
• Basic understanding of the UK secondary curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Support students to stay focused and complete set work.
• Assist pupils with SEN or additional learning needs where required.
• Record lesson feedback and student progress for teaching staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for confident individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable classroom experience while working in different school environments.

We are also recruiting across Rotherham, Sheffieldand Barnsley.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for supervising lessons, supporting students, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
