Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Cirencester is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools from November 2026. Roles are available short-term and long-term with flexible start dates, offering £120–£160 per day and weekly PAYE payments.

You will oversee lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensure students stay focused, and deliver pre-planned activities provided by staff. This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or education professionals

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in any setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence managing groups of students within a classroom environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, productive, and focused on their learning.
