Job summary

MCR Property Group is recruiting a Security Guard for Earlsdon Park in Coventry. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring the premises, and responding to incidents as part of a shift pattern that includes weekday nights and weekend days and nights.

Successful candidates will be reliable, observant and able to communicate clearly with occupants, visitors and contractors while following site procedures and safety rules. A valid SIA licence is preferred where duties require it.

Qualifications

• Reliable and observant with good concentration.
• Clear communication with a range of people.
• Ability to follow site procedures and health and safety rules.
• Flexibility to work weekday nights and weekend shifts.
• Previous security experience is beneficial.
• SIA Licence required if duties compel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the site and maintain a visible security presence.
• Carry out regular patrols and check for risks or incidents.
• Monitor entrances/exits and report unauthorised access.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of patrols and handovers.
• Respect health, safety and site procedures.
• Complete clear handovers and work as part of the team.
