Role Overview

You’ll be leading a team of colleagues with a high level of accountability. You’ll be hands-on with business development activity and leading on client work. You’ll understand litigation processes and be able to work alongside our Personal Injury Litigation team and Court of Protection team. You’ll support Partners to grow the business and deliver excellent client service whilst undertaking high value and/or complex work within the Court of Protection.

Your Responsibilities

1. Team leadership responsibilities
2. Working with our Personal Injury Litigation team
3. Taking instructions from clients and providing legal advice
4. Meeting all set cost/fee targets
5. Supporting practice development and cross-selling initiatives

About You

• 5+ years PQE in Court of Protection
• Experience leading a team
• Experience in business development and leading client work
• Understanding litigation processes alongside Court of Protection work
• Some experience with Mental Capacity Work
• High level of accountability
• Experience in practice development
• Highly organized
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Ability to work under pressure
