Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking two Course Officers to join The City Law School. You will handle day-to-day operations of programmes, respond to student queries, draft communications, maintain records, and support assessments, timetabling, and events including induction programmes.

The role requires A-Level standard or equivalent, strong IT skills (MS Office, Moodle, SITS), and excellent verbal and written communication with a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
• Experience in a busy customer-focused environment.
• Experience in Higher Education or similar setting.
• Confident using IT systems, including MS Office, spreadsheets and databases.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student queries and draft student communications and documentation.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Administer assessments and support timetabling and attendance monitoring.
• Arrange student events, including induction programmes.
