Job summary

Evri Group is hiring a Courier Service Specialist for the Armley site. You will act as the on-site champion, supporting and guiding couriers, ensuring parcels are ready for collection and maintaining efficient, compliant delivery operations.

You will oversee daily activity, address issues before escalation, and provide feedback to optimise performance in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role requires a UK driving license and understanding of the self-employed courier model.

Qualifications

• Requires a current UK driving licence.
• Solid understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new couriers and allocate work.
• Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance.
• Address local issues such as late couriers or missing parcels before escalation.
• Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
