Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking two highly experienced Occupational Therapists to join the OT Intake and Response Team in a countywide, peripatetic role across Leicestershire.

You will provide advanced OT practice in Social Care, including equipment provision, moving and handling, and major and minor adaptations, using professional judgement to deliver timely, proportionate and person-centred solutions across the county.

Qualifications

• Qualified OT with HCPC registration and social care experience.
• Advanced OT interventions knowledge incl. moving and handling and adaptations.
• Ability to undertake complex assessments, risk management and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide countywide OT resource and support across Leicestershire.
• Work across teams and localities to ensure timely OT delivery.
• Autonomous practitioner delivering person-centred solutions and prioritising workload.
• Support and develop others, provide guidance and share expertise.
