Aligra is partnering with a client to recruit a Counterbalance Driver for their busy warehouse team.

This hands-on role supports inbound stock control, inventory accuracy and daily warehouse operations. If you’re organised, computer literate and take pride in accuracy, we’d love to hear from you.

The role offers a permanent path after a successful temporary period (Temp-to-Perm) with a Monday to Friday pattern and a 14:00–22:00 shift, plus training.

Formación

• Counterbalance FLT licence (B1) required.
• DBS check will be required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse/logistics experience.
• Organised with strong inventory accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Operate counterbalance forklift safely to load, unload and move stock.
• Transport pallets between warehouse locations.
• Assist goods‑in tasks, check deliveries and store stock.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report defects.
• Update stock movements using warehouse systems to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain health and safety and housekeeping standards.

Aligra is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Counterbalance Driver to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands‑on role supporting inbound stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse operations. If you’re organised, computer literate, and take pride in accuracy, we’d love to hear from you.

Working Hours:

• 14:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday
• Initial training period of 2-3 weeks, working 08:00 – 16:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently to load, unload and move stock around the warehouse
• Transporting pallets and goods between warehouse locations and designated storage areas
• Supporting goods‑in activities, including checking deliveries and storing stock correctly
• Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Using warehouse systems to update stock movements and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and maintaining high housekeeping standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good computer literacy and confidence using warehouse systems
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous
• Counterbalance B1 licence
• A Basic DBS check will be required
