ProARecruitment is recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a permanent role in Leicestershire. You will operate Counterbalance FLTs in a fast-paced environment, loading/unloading, moving pallets, and supporting stock control with MRP systems. Responsibilities

Counterbalance Forklift Drivers - Permanent vacancies

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £31,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating AM/PM shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) plus occasional night shift, paid at a higher premium

Plus: Overtime paid after 40 hours + exceptional employee benefits

Key Responsibilities

• · Operating Counterbalance FLTs safely and accurately in a busy production environment
• · Moving a variety of products, pallets, and cages across the site
• · Loading and unloading vehicles with precision and care
• · Checking barcodes, customer orders, and stock items ready for UK‑wide distribution
• · Supporting wider production and warehouse teams as required
• · Working within a quality‑controlled, clean, and safety‑focused environment
• · Completing picking, packing, and materials handling tasks
• · Using MRP systems and Windows‑based software to manage stock and order information (ideal but not essential)

Your skills and experience

• · In‑date RTITB licence for Counterbalance
• · Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
• · Strong awareness of health & safety and quality standards
• · Confident, accurate FLT driving skills
• · A team‑focused approach with the flexibility to support other operational areas
• · Good attention to detail when handling stock, orders, and documentation
• · Experience with MRP or stock management systems is highly desirable
