Job summary

Kinaxia Bristol, based in Yate, is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our busy transport operation. The role is permanent, full-time, with shifts in the Yate area and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Shift patterns include 18:00–02:30 and 13:00–21:30, with hourly rates of £14.00 and £13.51 respectively. Overtime and benefits are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse/transport setting.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move palletised freight.
• Load and unload single and double-deck trailers.
• Handle loading/unloading across 3.5T, 7.5T, 18T and 26T vehicles.
• Check, scan and label inbound freight accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficiency.
• Keep a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Shift Patterns & Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday, 18:00 - 02:30 - £14.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 13:00 - 21:30 - £13.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your duties will include:

• Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move palletised freight.
• Loading and unloading both single and double-deck trailers.
• Loading and unloading a variety of vehicles, including 3.5T, 7.5T, 18T, and 26T vehicles.
• Checking, scanning, and labelling inbound freight accurately.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhering to all company health and safety procedures and policies.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse or transport environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
