Job summary

Kinaxia Bristol is hiring a Counterbalance FLT Driver for our Yate, Bristol operation. Roles include palletised freight movement, loading/unloading via counterbalance forklift, and ensuring accurate inbound freight handling.

Shifts run 18:00–02:30 (£14.00/hr) or 13:00–21:30 (£13.51/hr). Overtime on Saturdays, uniform/PPE, free on-site parking, pension and other employee benefits are provided. Join a busy, safety‑focused team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in warehouse/transport.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move palletised freight.
• Loading and unloading both single and double-deck trailers.
• Handling a variety of vehicles including 3.5T, 7.5T, 18T and 26T.
• Checking, scanning and labelling inbound freight accurately.
• Working with colleagues to maintain efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and policies.

Shift Patterns & Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday, 18:00 - 02:30 - £14.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 13:00 - 21:30 - £13.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move palletised freight.
• Loading and unloading both single and double-deck trailers.
• Loading and unloading a variety of vehicles, including 3.5T, 7.5T, 18T, and 26T vehicles.
• Checking, scanning, and labelling inbound freight accurately.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhering to all company health and safety procedures and policies.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse or transport environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
