Job summary

Counter Terrorism Policing North East is seeking a Counter Terrorism Trainer to design, develop and deliver high quality learning and development solutions for staff across the region.

The successful candidate will deliver training on complex and sensitive counter-terrorism topics to police and external partner agencies, keeping materials up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of counter-terrorism investigative/intelligence/operational practice.
• Ability to deliver advanced police accredited training and other nationally accredited training qualifications.
• Experience in designing and delivering training and exercises with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high quality learning and development solutions for staff in the region.
• Deliver training on complex and sensitive issues within the Police and external partner agencies.
• Ensure training is updated in line with prevailing needs and best practice in counter-terrorism.
