Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Counter‑Terror Protective Security Manager to develop and coordinate counter‑terrorism security strategies, assess risks, and support security staff across sites and events.

You will advise senior leadership, liaise with police and intelligence agencies, and ensure compliance with UK legislation including Martyn's Law. Travel across the UK and Northern Europe is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in policing, military, or security management with counterterrorism focus.
• Strong understanding of threat landscapes, security tech, and mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary security teams and advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive counter-terrorism security plans for sites and events to mitigate risks.
• Lead the creation of Protect Duty frameworks and ensure Martyn's Law compliance.
• Conduct threat, risk and vulnerability assessments and coordinate with emergency services.
