Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead a professional, compliant security service across Airbus Defence & Space locations in Newport, Portsmouth and Stevenage. The role requires travel between sites to provide visible leadership and ensure delivery against contractual obligations, SLAs and KPIs.

You will drive governance, coach security teams and maintain robust SOPs, ensuring safety, security and exceptional service across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing corporate or large-scale security operations.
• Demonstrable experience in people leadership and client engagement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• SIA licence (Front Line).
• Driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Right to Work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee security operations across Newport, Portsmouth and Stevenage.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain control room, CCTV, access control and patrol management.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and AIs for all locations.
• Provide regular briefings and performance reports to stakeholders.
