Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for Mindplace Edgbaston to provide high-quality face-to-face counselling. This permanent, part-time role offers 2 days per week minimum with varied shifts from 08:00 to 22:00 and weekend slots, within a busy multidisciplinary team.

Essential registrations (BACP/NCPS/UKCP) and 3+ years post-qualification experience are required. You’ll assess, plan, and deliver interventions, while promoting mental wellbeing and safeguarding. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• BACP Accredited Counsellor or Psychotherapist with current registration.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification counselling experience.
• Accreditation required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions with good outcomes.
• Conduct assessments and formulations to guide interventions.
• Deliver face-to-face sessions and other service models as needed.
• Follow case management processes and collaborate with team leads.
• Manage session limits per client benefits and provide referrals.
• Deliver wellbeing support, psychoeducation, and group sessions.
