Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a Costa Manager to lead daily operations at a Costa store. You will oversee staff, ensure smooth service, and uphold exceptional coffee experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, reliability and the ability to act decisively in the absence of senior management. You will be responsible for driving performance, maintaining cost controls, and delivering high-quality customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Costa Manager

40 hours a week

We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable and dedicated Manager to join our team. Overseeing daily operations, to ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major brand, leading the team with enthusiasm, and ensuring a welcoming environment where both customers and staff can enjoy exceptional coffee experiences.As a Costa Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless execution of business goals.
• Ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production.
• Delegate where necessary and ensure the team are proactive at all times.
• In the absence of the General Manager, assist in the completion of weekly bookwork and any other duties deemed necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager.
• Be proactive at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise.
