Vistry Group PLC is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Wakefield team. You will manage all costs, oversee procurement, subcontract administration, monthly payments and final accounts, ensuring value for money while upholding standards.

You will collaborate with Land, Development and Construction teams, attend design meetings, and support budget preparation and cost analyses throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent is required.
• Experience in residential housing development and cost management.
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong mathematical ability and budget management understanding.

Responsabilités

• Manage all costs relating to projects to minimise cost and maximise value.
• Attend development, pre-start and subcontract review meetings; prepare tender documentation.
• Prepare construction cost analyses and stage payment schedules.
• Check contract drawings for errors and assist with procurement and subcontract administration.
• Take responsibility for final accounts, budget settlements and cost reporting.
