Vistry Group PLC is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor at our Wakefield office to lead cost management across multiple projects. You will supervise, advise on financial and contractual matters, and drive profitability while collaborating with Commercial, Estimating and Buying teams.

The role demands strong cost analysis skills, experience in residential housing, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines within a flexible working environment.

Formación

• HNC / HND in Surveying or equivalent.
• Proven PQS/SQS/Commercial lead experience in residential house building.
• Understanding of building regulations and legal obligations.
• Good budget management and cost control skills.
• Strong mathematical and IT ability.
• Excellent communication and networking capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support and coach direct reports and the wider team to support growth.
• Attend design meetings to advise on cost implications.
• Prepare and check tender documentation and ensure costs stay within budget.
• Produce financial reports including valuations, CVRs and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, costs and final accounts.
