Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the UK Infrastructure team seeks a Cost Manager/Cost Consultant to support a growing portfolio of projects. You will monitor budgets, forecast costs, manage change control and collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver value and ensure governance.

Ideal candidates have NEC3 experience, strong communication and leadership, and a proactive approach to improving cost performance across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with clients and project teams
• Administer contracts in line with objectives and policies
• Provide cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget
• Monitor cost variance and cash flow and ensure timely applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs and value engineering
• Manage contract change within governance and best practices
• Improve forecast accuracy and budget reliability
• Provide commercial support to stakeholders
• Negotiate final accounts and close projects
• Lead teams and commissions as needed
• Identify and drive efficiency improvements
