Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is recruiting a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor within our Real Estate team to support our blue-chip clients in realizing their global workplace objectives. This role offers opportunities to work with a third of the Fortune 500 companies and grow within a market-leading business.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, client-facing, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. Responsibilities include client relations management, advanced excel modeling, functional cost planning, and value engineering of CAT A and CAT B fit outs. The role is primarily pre-construction, with opportunities to assist on construction projects when available.

The position involves working within a growing team of Cost Managers alongside external architects, interior designers, and engineers where applicable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Utilize existing Turner & Townsend alinea developed digital tools and contribute to creating new bespoke tools for clients
• Perform advanced cost modeling (Excel)
• Estimate and perform functional cost planning (CostX)
• Advise and drive value engineering
• Interface with internal economists, clients, and other consultants
• Engage in client interactions with senior leadership of Fortune 500 companies

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality cost management / quantity surveying services on Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects for corporate clients
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for cost modeling
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software is advantageous
• Proficiency in digital software for cost management services
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively
• Working towards a professional qualification (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
