Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a skilled Project Controls professional to join our team. You will coordinate project controls across the lifecycle, manage time and cost targets, and work with a remote cost-management team to deliver value for clients in data centres, life sciences, and related sectors.

Responsibilities include governance-based evaluation of time/cost targets, reporting to clients, and leading change management processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project controls coordination across all project phases.
• Experience in life sciences or data centre sectors is preferred.
• Proficient in scheduling, cost control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and root causes of deviations against baseline and recommend remedial actions.
• Lead evaluation of time, cost and quality targets with governance controls.
• Coordinate with remote cost management teams to ensure value for money.
• Guide the contractor to progress in line with schedule and cash flow.
• Prepare client-facing reports focusing on time, cost and quality targets.
• Manage costs using estimating, funding gates and contingency principles.
• Create/maintain cost reports and executive dashboards.
• Lead change management processes and workflows.
• Coordinate planning sessions to establish master project schedules and baselines.
• Gather vendor lead times and prioritise material/equipment orders.
• Collaborate with client to define vendor schedule requirements.
• Participate in risk evaluations and Monte Carlo outputs for project cost/schedule.
• Communicate status changes to ensure approvals in change management.
