Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineer to support major projects with robust cost controls, performance reporting, and EVM metrics. The role requires delivering accurate project cost data, maintaining baseline-aligned budgets, and ensuring timely visibility of costs and trends.

Ideal candidates are graduates in relevant disciplines, with experience in cost management systems (Prism/Ecosys) and familiarity with SAP/Oracle interfaces. SOX controls may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with cost controls delivery experience.
• CIMA qualification desirable for financial control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost control data structures to track actual costs.
• Establish project control budgets aligned with baselines.
• Track actual costs against cost controls structures for internal/external spend.
• Monitor accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
• Build project forecasts including ETC and EAC.
• Report Earned Value Management and project performance timely.
