Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineer to support major projects with cost performance reporting and Earned Value Management metrics. The role focuses on establishing budgets, tracking actual costs, forecasting ETC and EAC, and delivering timely project information to stakeholders.

Experience in cost management systems (Prism/Ecosys) and interfacing with SAP/Oracle is highly valued. CIMA qualification is welcomed for this position.

Qualifications

• Typically a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline.
• CIMA qualification welcomed for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost control data structures to track actual costs.
• Set the project control budget aligned with baselines.
• Track actual costs against cost controls structures.
• Monitor accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
• Forecast project work remaining (ETC) and EAC.
• Provide accurate reporting including Earned Value metrics.
• Monitor contingency and exposure from risks on the project.
• Track change control to stay aligned with baselines.
• Identify trends to inform future change controls.
