Job description

The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Head Store Person to oversee all store operations—ensuring optimal inventory management, alignment with cost control measures, and strong cross-functional coordination. This is a key role in maintaining the smooth daily running of our back-of-house logistics, ensuring that all departments are supported with timely and accurate supplies while identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and operational improvements. This role is due to start in May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory.
• Supervise, train and support store associates, ensuring compliance with all health, safety and company policies.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Work closely with Finance and Procurement to monitor costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure clear labelling, safe storage, and correct handling procedures to minimise loss or waste.
• Analyse inventory usage and turnover trends to improve procurement and reduce excess stock.
• Support other operational departments—including Loading Bay, Housekeeping, and Culinary—with timely procurement and logistics coordination.
• Provide regular reporting on inventory status, KPIs and budget performance to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement across store processes, systems and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Uphold Rosewood policies relating to confidentiality, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

About You:
• You are methodical, highly organised, and passionate about efficient operations.
• You have experience managing store or procurement operations, ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end service environments.
• You thrive in a hands-on leadership role and are confident coordinating with multiple departments.
• You are solutions-focused, cost-conscious, and understand how store operations contribute to the wider success of the business.
• You communicate with clarity, collaborate well with others, and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to everything you do.
