Job summary

Bydand Recruitment Group in Leeds is seeking a corporate solicitor to join an expanding team and advise businesses, investors and management on M&A, private equity, and governance across multiple sectors.

The role suits a newly qualified solicitor up to four years PQE, offering a genuine platform to develop a corporate career within a substantial national practice. The position is full-time with hybrid and flexible working, reporting to the Partner.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with corporate transactional experience gained during training or since qualification.
• Experience with M&A desirable and exposure to private equity is valuable.
• Experience advising businesses across sectors on corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Advising on company, business and asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting and negotiating share purchase and business asset purchase agreements.
• Supporting private equity investments and management transactions.
• Conducting legal due diligence and managing data-room reviews.
• Assisting with disclosure exercises and preparing disclosure letters.
• Drafting transaction documents and completion materials.
• Supporting IPOs, equity fundraisings and other public company matters.
• Advising on corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements.

Job description

Opportunity to join expanding corporate team for exciting corporate solicitor job in Leeds.

Working alongside experienced corporate lawyers, you will advise businesses, investors, shareholders and management teams on M&A, Private Equity and other corporate transactions including corporate governance across a variety of sectors.

Overview

• Experience: Corporate transactional experience gained during a training contract or following qualification; exposure to M&A is particularly desirable

What to expect

• Advising on company, business and asset acquisitions and disposals
