Job summary

Yorkshire Pie Company in Leeds is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a growing corporate team within a large national law firm. You will work with Partners on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity deals, delivering commercially focused legal advice.

From initial instruction through to completion, you will support due diligence, documentation, negotiations and deal execution, collaborating across offices and building strong client

Qualifications

• NQ to 1 year PQE in corporate law.
• Interest in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate matters.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• Commercially aware with proactive problem solving and client service.
• Confident team player working with Partners across offices.
• Motivated to build a long-term career in a large national firm.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Partners on a broad range of corporate transactions including M&A and PE deals.
• Advise private and public companies on corporate matters with commercially focused guidance.
• Manage transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring progress and efficiency.
• Assist with due diligence, documentation, negotiations and deal execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Leeds team and wider national practice.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to excellent service.

Profile

The Corporate Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor with NQ to 1 year's PQE in corporate law.

• Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to problem solving and client service.
