This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded corporate team in Cheltenham, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters.

The successful candidate will become part of a well-established and ambitious team, advising an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients across a variety of sectors.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity transactions
• Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
• Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
• Group reorganisations
• Share sales and acquisitions
• Corporate governance and general advisory work
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value transactions

You will work closely with Partners and senior members of the team while having increasing responsibility for your own matters and client relationships.

About You

We are looking for a Corporate Associate with a strong grounding in corporate law and ideally experience gained within a reputable national, international or leading regional firm.

You will ideally have:

• Around 2–5 years' PQE, although applications from candidates outside this range will be considered
• Strong experience across a range of corporate transactions
• Excellent technical and commercial ability
• The confidence to deal directly with clients
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• A genuine interest in business and developing long-term client relationships
• The ambition to progress your career within a highly regarded corporate practice
