Job summary

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years' PQE and a strong track record advising technology companies, founders, venture funds and investors on VC financings, growth equity deals and M&A transactions. Excellent drafting and client-facing skills are essential.

Corporate Associate - Technology, Venture Capital & M&A | 3-5 PQE | London

We are working with a leading international law firm looking to recruit a 3-5 PQE Associate into its highly regarded Corporate practice in London, with a particular focus on technology, venture capital, and M&A transactions.

The team advises high-growth technology companies, founders, venture capital funds and institutional investors on a broad range of corporate transactions, from early-stage financings through to significant cross-border M&A and strategic investments.

The successful candidate will work on a varied mix of venture capital financings, growth equity investments, acquisitions and disposals, and other complex corporate transactions.

The role offers the opportunity to advise innovative businesses and leading investors across the technology and life sciences sectors, working closely with experienced partners on sophisticated, often international matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years' PQE gained at a leading UK, US or international law firm.
• Strong corporate transactional experience, ideally encompassing venture capital, growth equity and M&A.
• Experience advising technology companies, founders, venture capital funds or growth investors.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in working with high-growth businesses and investors.
